The School of Management for Infrastructure and Development Strategies – India (MINDS) was launched at Bangalore on August 27, 2004. It became functional officially on July 1, 2005. The School is a Division of the Centre for Symbiosis of Technology, Environment & Management (STEM), Bangalore, a not-for-profit multi-disciplinary professional Society with nearly two decades’ standing in Development Research, Consultancy & Training. The MINDS academic activities are reinforced by STEM’s substantial sectoral exposure and special academic, industry & employer linkages. MINDS enjoys the status of an Extension Centre of Karnataka’s prestigious Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).
VISION
Provide holistic training for mentoring domain-ready infrastructure managers, who have the ability and grit to
convert the huge investments in India’s infrastructure sector into quality facilities;
upgrade the country’s existing infrastructure set-up; and
sustain high infrastructure service levels in the country by adopting better management paradigms and practices.

Bridge the gap between demand and availability of a new generation of responsive, responsible and proactive infrastructure planners, managers & administrators in India; and
